Posted On September - 26 - 2011

Aoba tries to awaken the demon within Sakura at great cost to the lonely young girl’s dreams of love with the prince who has long held her adoration. He reveals some of his own astonishing powers and goes to further cruel lengths to attempt to force her to become a youko and be destroyed – by him!

That is only the start of the drama and half of the heartbreak. A decree from the Emperor buys Sakura a reprieve and she takes it as a chance to fight her fate. She refuses to give in and intends to use her powers to fight to protect the people of her country, even if it means those she love might hate her for her nature.

One would think having to fight becoming a monster while fighting monsters would be enough on any girl’s plate, but Sakura gains problems like other people breathe.  Lord Fujimurasaki makes Sakura a surprising proposal and offers it with a kiss that is witnessed by a jealous Aoba. Despite his deep hatred of youko, Aoba also may care for her judging from his intense reaction to Fujimurasaki’s embrace. She too is confused by Aoba’s mercurial treatment of her and Fujimurasaki’s sudden interest. More clues to her destiny are laid but greater trouble arrives in the presence of a mysterious and dangerous man named Lord Enju.

Heartlessly using Oumi, the lady is a pawn to trap Sakura. When Oumi reveals her reasons for her hatred of youko, she also makes a terrible sacrifice for the sake of honor and perhaps atonement for her treatment of Sakura. Enju arrives and arrogantly confesses his use of Oumi, inciting Sakura to a grievous fury, one that might just awaken her demonic side for good!
