With sacrifice comes a gift. Fai regains his magic and with it the ability to travel dimensions. They quickly transport over to Fei-Wang’s dimension only to discover it is Tokyo! They enter into a fierce fight to reach Sakura. During it, they learn exactly how Fei-Wang has used them all in order to gain the power to rip reality apart and bring back the dead. The sheer complexity of his plan, the plotting it has required, the extensive manipulation, is stunning. But is the least of the surprises in store for the heroes in this volume.
As they fight, Yuko appears and her reason for existing outside of time is given greater clarity in this volume. She at last opens the tube she has kept all these years and through it, an older looking Sakura and Syaoran emerge to help try to restore the chaos Fei-Wang is wreaking with the dimensions. They use their vast powers to try to restore what he would see destroyed. But why do they look so much like their younger counterparts? More is unveiled but it raises a few more questions as the final battle commences.
Meanwhile Yuko is not done. In the world of dreams she has the doppelganger Syaoran and Sakura and tells them it is time for them to choose, but choose what remains to be seen. More mysteries abound and secrets unravel in this climatic chapter as the series fast approaches the finale.
