Yoh and Marco, the X-Laws captain, were having a nice, quiet fight when Luchist, the creator of the X-Laws, shows up spoiling for a fight to the death! Why? Because Marco had the gall to raise Lady Jeanne to like she was a saint! While Marco and Luchist are fighting, Yoh and Lyserg, the youngest of the X-Laws and Yoh's friend, try to save both of the older X-Laws by trickery. Will it work or is this futile?
After that fight, the secret of the angel oversouls is revealed. What they really are is a very interesting surprise!
Yoh is permitted to rejoin the shaman fight, but has to fight all of his friends in order to get into the next round. Ren Tao is happy to oblige, Joco and Hororo are not, but they will fight anyway. Ren considers the next fight as awarmup to the one he will have with Yoh. Of course, Ren intends to win, but will he?
The art is as wonderful and fun as always and the story is getting very good. It seems the story just gets better and better as the volumes go on! The action scenes are very well done with great attention to detail. The comedic scenes are just as good, especially the ones with Anna! She seems to be getting more and more grumpy as the story goes on. Not that there's anything wrong with that. She has a lot to worry about, being with Yoh and all the guests she has to entertain all the time!
One more thing: Yoh comes up with a crazy idea to defeat Hao. It's just so crazy it might work!
Yoh and his friends keep on fighting as the fight for Shaman King continues in this action-packed latest volume!
