It’s an all new yaoi series of mystery and supernatural seduction in Ze! From the author of Love Mode, Ze is a new manga about a guy down on his luck and the place he ends up where the secrets are only a bit more plentiful than the sexy men and dangerous liaisons!

Raizou is a sweet guy who lost his dear, old grandma, his home, and needs a place and work fast. He gets an offer he can’t refuse and moves into the luxurious Mitou household as their housekeeper and cook. But this family is the strangest assortment Raizou has ever seen. Not one to judge, he can’t help but wonder about the beautiful men and women and the explicit behaviors going on around him. But that’s nothing compared to what is really happening in and out of the sheets! It turns out his roommate Kon and half of the household are “kami”. They’re spirits that help their masters heal after using spells like curses and whatnot. Raizou can’t believe his eyes and when he learns that Kon is without a master and being abused because of it, the virtuous young man swoops in to the rescue but just what has he gotten himself into? Potential supernatural assassins are bad enough, but can his innocent head handle the bonding he needs to do with Kon? Love is in the air along with spells and intrigue to whet the appetite and the curiosity!

Ze is one of the more thrilling and fun new series to come out in yaoi this year. It has action, mystery, sexy men everywhere, and seductions left and right. It has a lot of racy content but what is sure to win readers over is the sweet romance between the kindhearted Raizou and the troubled and wounded Kon. They’re definitely the main couple but there are side stories involving the others. In this first volume the head of the household comes back for the mischievous kami that he gave his heart to. And Konoe, the brash kami who says whatever he feels, often steals the scenes he’s in.

The art style is engaging, with varied characters, and fun. It’s deliciously risqué but doesn’t sacrifice the tenderness between characters either when the moment turns romantic and not only erotic.

IN SUMMARY:
Romantic, mysterious, and fun too! Ze has a little bit of everything for yaoi fans who love supernatural tales of romance mixed with otherworldly intrigue.
