In this most successful of traditionally funny Japanese harem anime comedies wizard Negi Springfield still teaches at the academy yet unknowingly still attracts attention of the female kind during the spring class where the girls go on a trip to a tropical island to try and patch up a quarrel between Negi and Asuna. In the summer arc, Negi and the others go to have a nice spa where all kinds of strange and humorous things happen along the way creating a vastly great couple of OVAs that will make the watcher all cheerful again at seeing more of the same antics and slapstick comedy it is famous for. The introductory music will remind viewers of the Harry Potter series no doubt, yet the originality of the series shines through in these two episodes.
Known in Japan as Magical Teacher Negima, this has been an ongoing series for some time now and not surprisingly with some of the best voice actors in the business working on it to make it what it is – Greg Ayres voices Negi, his career spanning years in the entertainment industry alone, his work on Speed Grapher and Trinity Blood; Laura Bailey plays the punchy Ayaka, Monica Rial voices Konoka who previously worked on many other high profile titles, Basilisk, Black Cat and Burst Angel, while Caitlin Glass voices Chisame who worked on such as Full Metal Alchemist, Black Cat and Ouran High School Host Club.
There is plenty of fan service for the boys which will excite and intrigue, as well as escapades of the girls that should leave nothing to the imagination.
Special Features include Schoolgirl Commentary, Text-less songs, Trailers and Chupacabras to fulfil your entertainment needs.
Bouncy, fun and incredibly addictive – if you like your school dramas then this is the one for you!
