"I am happy to announce that we have Eve in our custody. Our dream for the perfect world order are about to become a reality."

Just when Sven, Train and Eve thought their problems are all over, a new evil comes out of the wreckage of the battle – The Zero Numbers, betrayers of the Chronos Corporation, The ones of Chronos who are good have to fight the others if they want to bring the evildoers to justice.
Sven and Train are ready to save the world from the battle that awaits them. Though the Apostles of the Star have been defeated, danger is still out there waiting for its opportunity.

Old friends show up and relationships with the three become tired as Eve longs for freedom. But instead meets someone sinister from her past who wants her to join him as he intended many years past.

The story takes many routes in this anime, but in this latest and final volume, nothing is what it is at first seems to be for Sven and Train.
The viewers will be touched by a sense of loss as the tale continues at its fast pace, yet the knowledge it is the last series will be overwhelming as they will feel they have only just got to know the characters.

All the camaraderie between the three main characters, the way they got to know Eve right from the beginning is about to be set back if they cannot get to her in time.

The problem has always been with other more shady characters trying to use Eve as a weapon – and that there might come a time in this final volume of Black Cat where it could happen.

And while others plot to bring forth a bright future, Sven and Train look for Eve and discover how bad things might get if they cannot bring her back with them where she seems to belong. The two of them had tamed her personality, and what could have been a disaster with her was prevented. It is the outside influences that can set about the destruction of the world they live in.

The use of bright, bold colours and a glow around the characters at times is a very interesting and one that is pleasing to the eye.

IN SUMMARY:
The final volume of this amazingly engaging series where Chronos fights against the Zero Numbers, and Eve goes missing – this is an incredible bunch of episodes that keep the viewer guessing. Five stars.
