We bring to you today the conclusion of Ali’s Tie of the Day!
That’s your friendly neighborhood manga marketing manager coming across a not-so-friendly fist…
And it looks like Ali’s back to rockin’ a bowtie (but no purple suit). While it’s not directly related to comics, the tie holds the words of what Ali considers to be the most important words ever to come from the government–The First Amendment.

As you can probably tell, we’ve been super busy today, the most crowded and busy day of the Con. But the day wouldn’t be complete without a certain feature, so without further ado, here’s the highly-anticipated Tie of the Day!
Much like yesterday, this tie features the classic POW, BAM sound effects that our beloved comics are known for. Purchased from the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.

Oh, and let’s not forget that Ali’s sporting a spectacularly purple suit today. It’s really an Ali exclusive in Con fashionwear.
It’s Friday, which means day two of Ali’s Tie of the Day!
And in a surprise move, Ali isn’t sporting a character tie, but he does pay homage to the power of sound effects/word bubbles with a very colorful tie (sorry, folks, no bowtie today).
In the credits where credit is due department, the characters depicted my bow tie yesterday were not from Little Lulu, but rather Nancy & Sluggo. Our apologies to any members of the Ernie Bushmiller Society who may have been inadvertently offended. And you know who you are…
